Keypads

A keypad is a device used to enter a code or combination of numbers to gain access to a gate or garage door . It consists of a series of buttons or touch screen numbers which the user presses to input the unique code to open the gate or garage door. Keypads can be programmed to allow access only to authorized individuals, or different access codes for different customers or family members. providing an added level of security to your property. Any codes can be cancelled at any time and if only one code is used it can be changed quickly without any special tools. There are two types, wired or wireless. Wired requires 2 or 4 wires from the keypad to the control board, where wireless works like a remote control and just sends a signal like a remote to open. Both are good but the wireless type will need batteries to be replaced every couple of years.
