Refund policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at graemeyoung@iinet.net.au and send your item to: 377 shady hills view, Bullsbrook, Western Australia 6084, Bullsbrook WA 6084, Australia.

Shipping

We ship by Australia post and courier depending on weight and postcode. 

Orders processed next business day, and allow 5 working days for delivery in Eastern States of Australia, as we are located in Perth.

We no longer stock batteries for our kits but we deal with companies in the east of Australia and the batteries will be delivered to you direct from those companies, just to make sure they are fresh and fully charged when you get them..

Once shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email complete with a shipment tracking number. If you have a general shipping query please contact us at graeme@gatehousesecurity.com.au We do not accept responsibility for delayed, lost or damaged items occurring while in transit. Should you experience this you should follow up with Australia Post for Australia wide shipping or Express DHL Australia for international shipping. 

International Shipping

Shipments sent outside Australia are sold exclusive of GST and may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once your shipment reaches your country.

Delivery outside of Australia costs calculated and sent by the cheapest service.. Shipping is available to all countries, with some exceptions. If in doubt, please contact us.

For details of Customs charges please consult your own Customs authorities for the latest rates. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances.

Business name is not liable for your parcel once it is in possession of the freight company both within Australia or internationally. If you are experiencing unusual delays please directly contact the nominated freighting service quoting the tracking number provided by business name at time of dispatch.
